Operations Alert: Hurricane Milton and Excused Delay

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has issued a proclamation allowing national banks, federal savings associations, and federal branches and agencies of foreign banks to close offices in areas of Florida impacted by Hurricane Milton.

In issuing the proclamation, the OCC expects that only those bank offices directly affected by potentially unsafe conditions will close. Those offices should make every effort to reopen as quickly as possible to address the banking needs of their customers.

In light of this storm and its projected impact, ePayResources wants to remind our members of the proper application of the Excused Delay provision of the Nacha Operating Rules. Click Read More below to access the complete alert issued on 9/26 in anticipation of the previous storm, Hurricane Helene (member login required).

We send our best wishes for the safety of all in the storm's path.
