Duplicate Posting - Boeing ECU

On Monday, September 19, 2022, Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU, R/T 3250-8140-3) accidentally posted the new late ACH file twice. There were approximately 145K items. BECU has reversed the duplicate credits and debits from their members' accounts. However, there were around 1,600 exceptions; some were returned twice, and a few were returned NSF in error as a result of the second posting. BECU is in the process of identifying the affected members and will be working directly with the impacted ODFIs. If you experienced a duplicate return from BECU, dishonor the second return using code R67 – Duplicate Return.
