1974

SWACHA, the Southwestern Automated Clearing House Association, headquartered in Dallas, TX, is incorporated and joins Nacha.

1976

VACHA, the Virginia Automated Clearing House Association, headquartered in Richmond, VA, is incorporated and joins Nacha.

1977

Judy Trimble is hired by SWACHA as its first full-time Executive Director.

1979

Norman Robinson is hired as Executive Director of VACHA. Financial institutions in West Virginia agree to join and name changes to Virginias Automated Clearing House Association.

1990's

1995

Scholarship to the Payments Institute established.

1996

VACHA and NorCACHA in North Carolina merged and formed EastPay.

First Information Interchange conference (now ePayConnect).

1999

First-ever teleseminar training by a Payments Association is conducted.


Payments Systems Network (PSN) in Florida merges with EastPay.

2000's

2001

Dennis Simmons named President of SWACHA.

2002

ACH Certifcate Program launched.

2003

2005

Keith Daniels Memorial Scholarship established.


ProceduresNow! and Audit and Consulting Services launched.

2007

Education Club and Payments Strategy Consulting introduced.

2008

Tim Quisenberry named President of SWACHA Services Corporation, our subsidiary offering audit and consulting services (now ePayAdvisors).

2009

Video On Demand is launched.

First Leadership in Payments Award presented to Richard R. Oliver.

2013

Laura Steele is named President of SWACHA.

2016

SWACHA and EastPay merge to form ePayResources.

2017

Power Packs rolled out for AAP, APRP, and NCP exam preparation.
