Susan Lewellyn Pamerleau, the 33rd United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas, will be the featured speaker at the San Antonio Fraud Reduction Meeting on July 17, 2024.
As Marshal, her duties include leading operations related to the security and protection of the United States Courts, conducting criminal investigations, apprehending fugitives, executing federal court orders, and other law enforcement activities.
Before her current role, Pamerleau was the 38th Sheriff of Bexar County, managing the eleventh-largest Sheriff's Office in the United States. She also co-chaired the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Law Enforcement Sub-Committee and the ABA Law Enforcement Task Force on Body Cameras.
Pamerleau's career includes 32 years in the United States Air Force, where she retired as Major General. Following her military service, she worked as Senior Vice President at USAA. Her commitment to public service is further demonstrated by her involvement on the boards of numerous civic and charitable organizations and her participation with the Major County Sheriffs’ Association, the National Sheriffs’ Association, and the American Correctional Association.
Through her diverse and extensive career, Susan Lewellyn Pamerleau has made significant contributions to law enforcement and public service, exemplifying leadership and dedication.
